holiday for the birthday girl
Last Wednesday, i went to work with smile. So excited cause after work, I'll catch flight to Bali. It was present for my birthday. Arrived Bali at 12.30 am cause my flight got delay. Tired but full of excitement. The next day, my rent car was there and start drove to Bedugul. Got lost about an hour, but then everything was okay until arrived in Bedugul. The view was amazing. Never have this kinda holiday in Bali before. Normally, everytime went to Bali, just stayed in Kuta area, shopping, go to the beach and sleep in the hotel. We stayed in golf country club in bedugul. It was sort of cottage with mountain and green landscape view. At nite time, from the balcony, we sat there and enjoying the stars. Damn gorgeous. Black sky with sparkling stars all over you can imagine. Plus..the fog made it more mistic than ever. It was pretty cold at night, no wonder the hotel doesn't have an AC, but a heater.
 
Friday, we started driving up to Lovina beach. We only had map and followed every little village and jungle. This time, we picked different route which is more quiet, along the lake and jungle. The views really take a breath away. You can see monkey along the way, high cliff, rice field, mountain, temple, and of course local peoples. Lovina was pretty hot. After check-in, we went lunch in a cozy and nice cafe near the hotel. I was so surprised cause we got welcome drink and they gave us a 'vodka orange'.Pretty cool,huh. Then, we decided to rent a jetski after lunch. OMG...it was so fun. I was screaming when we were flying and hit the wave. For 50 bucks per hour, definitely worth it!! The cottage we're staying also pretty cool, with the mosquite net around the bed. It was quiet, dark and again, so mistic. Love it.
Saturday, we drove back to Kuta. We passed the Batur mountain and lake. Stop in the jungle, to bought some fruit and enjoyed the great view. When we were passing Ubud, the weather is damn hot. My body getting pretty tired and sore from the jetski still, but tried to keep smiling. We arrived Kuta around 2 pm and took a long bath and little nap. For dinner, we went to the restaurant near the Kuta beach and enjoying our coctails and the peoples. Then, finally Sunday afternoon, back to Jakarta.
Funny, this time, no shopping at all. But it was a great holiday gift, I really enjoyed every single minute of it. Now,back to reality, back to daily life and work. Wish i can have another holiday. Guess,i'll see you around..everybody.
